Delete an event 

If you need to remove an event from your EventBookings account, the process is straightforward and can be completed in just a few steps. Follow this detailed guide to delete an event securely: 

Step 1: Access the Organiser Dashboard 

Log in to your EventBookings account and navigate to the Organizer Dashboard, where you can manage all your events and settings. This is the central hub for organising and maintaining your events. 

Step 2: Open the Events Section 

In the Organiser Dashboard, locate and click on the Events tab. This will display a list of all the events you’ve created. You can scroll through the list to find the specific event you wish to delete. 

Step 3: Select the Event to Delete 

Once you’ve identified the event you want to remove, locate the three-dot menu icon next to the event name. Click on this icon to reveal additional options for managing the event. 

Step 4: Click the Delete Button 

From the dropdown menu that appears, select the Delete option. This action will prompt a confirmation dialog to ensure that you intend to delete the event. 

Step 5: Confirm the Deletion 

Carefully review the confirmation message. If you’re sure about deleting the event, click on the Confirm button to finalise the process. Once confirmed, the event will be permanently removed from your account and will no longer be accessible. 

Important Notes 

  • Deleting an event is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Ensure you no longer need the event or its data before proceeding. 
  • If you have attendees registered for the event, consider notifying them beforehand about the cancellation or changes.
