Create & Manage Event Tickets

Tickets are the gateway for your customers to attend your event, and EventBookings offers a variety of ticket types to meet your unique event needs. Whether you’re offering free tickets, group tickets, or donation options, EventBookings has you covered. Here’s a guide to understanding and creating tickets for your events:

Basic Ticket Types:

  • Free Tickets: Offer tickets to your event at no cost to attendees.
  • Group Tickets: Bundle tickets together for group purchases, which are ideal for selling tables or event tickets.
  • Donation Tickets: Allow attendees to donate as part of their ticket purchase.

Creating Tickets:

  • Creating a ticket is mandatory to publish an event.
  • Enter the ticket name and description so attendees can understand.
  • Choose to keep the ticket free or set a price.
  • Create variations of the same ticket, such as different prices for different age groups.

Capacity and Limits:

  • All tickets must have a capacity, and the event’s total booking availability for that ticket type must be determined.
  • Limit how many times a person can book a ticket to manage attendance.

Group Ticket Benefits:

  • Combine a defined number of tickets into a group, offering multiple entries with one purchase.
  • Useful for selling tables or group event tickets and offering group consulting for appointments.

Donation Tickets for Charity and Fundraising Events:

Donation tickets are a powerful tool for hosting charity and fundraising events through EventBookings. These tickets allow attendees to contribute an additional amount to their ticket purchase, supporting your cause and helping you raise funds for your charity or cause. Here’s how you can make the most of donation tickets:

  • Raise Funds: Donation tickets allow attendees to contribute beyond the ticket price, allowing you to raise funds for your charity or cause.
  • Transparency: EventBookings provides transparency in tracking donations, ensuring that all contributions are recorded and accounted for accurately.
  • Engagement: Donation tickets can engage attendees by allowing them to support a cause they care about, creating a sense of community and shared purpose.
  • Validations: You can enter a minimum and maximum amount that attendees can contribute to your event. The default value allows you to suggest an amount to them.

By offering donation tickets through EventBookings, you can enhance your charity and fundraising events, raise awareness for your cause, and make a meaningful impact with the support of your attendees.

Advanced Ticket Settings:

  • Configure advanced settings for each ticket by selecting “I want to configure this for individual tickets” in the settings and saving.
  • Example: Offer an early bird discount by configuring the discount in the advanced settings.

Note: Tickets can be created and edited until the end of the event.

With EventBookings, you have the flexibility to create and manage various ticket types to enhance your event experience and meet the needs of your attendees.
