What is the AI Assistant add-on?

The AI Assistant is an EventBookings add-on that connects your account to supported AI chat platforms – Claude and ChatGPT – through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Once connected, you can type natural-language prompts in Claude or ChatGPT to retrieve information or perform actions in your EventBookings account. You do not need to sign in to EventBookings separately for each request.

How credits work

Each EventBookings API call triggered by a prompt uses 1 credit. The number of credits used depends on how many API calls are required to complete your request.

• Simple request: A prompt such as “Show me my upcoming events” may require 1 API call and use 1 credit.
• Complex request: A prompt that requires several lookups or actions may make multiple API calls and use multiple credits.

Free trial credits

Organisations on the Basic plan receive 100 free trial credits.

Purchase additional credits

You can purchase additional credits at any time for kr91 per 200 credits. Purchased credits never expire.

Plan-based bonus credits

When an organisation upgrades its plan, it receives bonus credits in addition to its existing balance.

What happens when credits run out?

When your credit balance reaches zero:

1. A purchase link appears directly in your Claude or ChatGPT conversation.
2. Select the link to open the EventBookings AI Assistant credit purchase window.
3. Complete your purchase. You will then be redirected automatically to Claude or ChatGPT so you can continue your session.

Remember: Credit usage is based on EventBookings API calls, not the number of prompts you send. One prompt may use one or several credits.
