Event Meet

EventMeet is a tool that lets organisers create their events without integrating third-party conferencing apps into EventBookings. Whenever an organiser creates an online event, EventMeet works as our native conferencing app. Also, the attendees of the event can join seamlessly to the event through EventMeet.

Online event templates

EventBookings provides four different templates, and you can pick one depending on the type of event you are organising.

  • Standard Webinar: Our standard webinar template should fit well with your events for your general webinar requirements.
  • Training and Workshop: The training and workshop template is designed to help you conduct successful training and more engaging workshops through our built-in interfaces.
  • Online classes: The online class template keeps the students in mind and creates an overall learning environment throughout your events.
  • Talk-show template: The talk-show template is designed to give you the feel of televised talk shows right at your event. This particular template comes with the unique feature of adding speakers. You can see your speakers aligned vertically during your event to make it seem like a live talk show on air!

Define the settings of your online event beforehand (you can also change the settings later).

Attending an online event

When you book an online event, the event organiser will provide you with all the details to join it. Look for information in your confirmation email and reminder emails. Organisers may also set up an online event page that will include everything you need to know.

The confirmation email is a record of your purchase. It may also include a message from the organiser and a link to their online event page.

To find the confirmation email:

  1. Go to your email.
  2. Search for emails from no-reply@eventbookings.com.
  3. Open the email associated with your event.

Organisers may include information on how to join the event in their reminder emails. In addition, they send you other event-related promotional emails which may contain the joining information.

Checking My Orders or My Profile

After you book an event or purchase a ticket for the event, the purchase is recorded My Orders section. You can visit the details page from it and click the Enter Event Room button when the event is live.

To find and join your event from the profile page:

  1. Go to my profile from the profile menu drop-down.
  2. View the attending events section where you will find the event you booked for and click view.
  3. You can also filter out your event list to booked events from the filter drop-down.
  4. On the event details page, click enter event room button if the event is live.

To find and join your event from orders:

  1. Go to orders from the profile drop-down menu.
  2. Navigate to the event where you booked tickets.
  3. Click on the event’s title, and you will get directed to the event’s detail page.
  4. Click the enter event room button if the event is live.

Contacting the organiser

If you are facing difficulty in finding the link to join an online event, you can contact your organiser for assistance. The organiser will provide you with instructions to join the event once they receive your query.

To contact your organiser:

  1. Go to orders from the profile drop-down menu.
  2. Navigate to the event where you booked tickets.
  3. Click view order details.
  4. Click contact organiser on the order details page.
  5. Enter a relevant subject line and your query in the send message pop-up.
  6. Click send message and an email will be sent to the organiser.
