How Purchasers Can Sign Up and Process a Refund Themselves

As a ticket purchaser, you have the option to process a refund yourself through EventBookings—provided the event organizer has enabled this feature.

Important Notes:

  1. You can only process a refund if the organizer has allowed this option.
  2. You may still sign up and request a refund even if your ticket purchase was made before creating your EventBookings account.
  3. Refunds usually take 5–7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Step 1: Sign Up for EventBookings

  • Go to the EventBookings Sign Up page.
  • Register using the same email address you used when purchasing your ticket.
  • Verify your account via the confirmation email.

Step 2: Access “My Orders”

  • Once logged in, go to the My Orders section.
  • Search for your order using your Order ID.
    • If you don’t remember your Order ID, check the box “I don’t have my Order ID” and click Find My Ticket to locate your order.

Step 3: Link Your Order to Your Account

  • When your order appears in the search results, click Link with My Account under your order.
  • Wait a few moments until you see a confirmation message that the order has been linked.

Step 4: View Order Details

  • Click the View Order Details button (this will open in a new tab).
  • In the order details page, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner (next to the “Download” button).
  • Select Cancel Order.

Step 5: Confirm Refund

  • Ensure the checkbox for processing the refund is already ticked.
  • Click Confirm Cancel to cancel the order and process your refund.

✅ That’s it! Your refund request will now be processed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–7 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.
